Director's Message
Your Library Director Welcomes You
Fall is here, children are back in school, and the frenzy of summer is over as we prepare for the seeming solemnity of the season. However, the shifting of seasons doesn't have to be solemn at all. In fact, change, though sometimes inconvenient and uncomfortable, is always inevitable. And, without it, we would never evolve. That being said, over the last eight months our library has been in the midst of change for various reasons, but ultimately our transitions are to provide better service to you, our loyal patrons and friends. Thank you for your support and acknowledgment of our efforts.
And Happy Autumn!
T. Ducksworth
Library Director
"Life is no straight and easy corridor along which we travel free and unhampered, but a maze of passages, through which we must seek our way, lost and confused, now and again checked in a blind alley. But always, if we have faith, a door will open for us, not perhaps one that we ourselves would ever have thought of, but one that will ultimately prove good for us."
A.J. Cronin (opening quote from "Who Moved My Cheese" by Spencer Johnson)
